Windows
Energy-efficient windows, installed to actually stay sealed.

The Work
What a real windows looks like.
A good window is only as good as the install around it. A premium triple-pane unit set into a leaky rough opening loses every efficiency point on the label within one winter. We replace old windows with energy-rated units, and we install them the way manufacturers actually specify — with flashing, with insulation, and with a pan that catches the water the window will eventually let through.
Why It Matters
Why window installs fail quietly
Most failed window installs look fine from the inside. The failure is outside — a missing head flashing, a stuffed-with-fiberglass rough opening, a caulk bead doing the job flashing is supposed to do. The homeowner notices a cold draft, a water stain five winters later, or a rotted sill thirty winters later. We install to manufacturer spec, not to the cheapest and fastest way to set the unit.
What's Included
Every line item on the estimate.
No hidden add-ons, no surprise upcharges. This is what the price covers on every Home Pro windows job.
Full measure and rough-opening check
Every opening measured and checked for plumb and level before ordering. No surprises on install day.
Old unit removal without trim destruction
Interior trim preserved where possible. No left-behind tear-up that adds drywall and trim repair costs you did not budget for.
Rough-opening prep and insulation
Rough openings cleaned, checked for rot, and insulated with low-expansion foam — never stuffed with fiberglass batt.
Flashing integration
Head flashing, sill pan flashing, and proper housewrap tie-in. The details that keep the next 20 years of water out of the wall cavity.
Energy-rated units
ENERGY STAR certified glass packages. Double-hung, sliders, casement, and picture windows available in vinyl frames sized to the opening.
Interior finish
Interior trim reinstalled or replaced clean. Caulk and paint touch-up so the room looks finished, not patched.
Exterior capping
Aluminum coil capping on old wood exteriors for a maintenance-free finish that matches the window package.

“We had a great experience with Stephen and HomePro Remodeling! From our first meeting, Stephen was professional, honest, and offered the best price after 5 other quotes. The crew showed up on time and worked efficiently and neatly. Stephen even came by to do a final quality check before we made the last payment. The roof looks fantastic.”
“From the very first meeting with the owner, Stephen, we were impressed with his knowledge, expertise, and integrity. Stephen's crew, Marek and Irek, were equally outstanding. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and the transformation of our home is simply beautiful.”
FAQ
The questions homeowners actually ask.
How much of my old window is coming out?
That depends on the route. An insert install sets the new unit into the existing frame. A full-frame replacement takes the entire old unit and rough-opening trim out. We walk you through which one makes sense for your house before quoting.
Which windows do you install?
Primarily vinyl replacement units from nationally known manufacturers. Specific brand matched to the project — what is available, what holds up in coastal NJ, and what fits the budget without dropping efficiency.
Will new windows actually lower my energy bill?
If you are replacing old single-pane or failed double-pane units, yes — noticeably. If you are replacing relatively modern double-pane units, the savings are smaller and the real win is comfort, sound, and look, not dollars.
How long does it take to replace windows in my home?
Most whole-home window replacements take two to five days on-site depending on count and access. Single-opening replacements are usually done in a single visit.
Can this be done together with my roof or siding?
Yes, and usually it saves money. Windows done with a siding replacement is the ideal time — the flashing and housewrap integration can be done together instead of as two separate compromises.
