Roof Installation
New construction roofing done right the first time.

The Work
What a real roof installation looks like.
A new build is the one chance to get the roof right from the structure up. No compromises inherited from a previous roofer, no patchwork over old mistakes. We install the full system — decking prep, underlayment, shingle field, flashing, ventilation — as one integrated package, on builder timelines, to builder specs.
Why It Matters
Why the first install determines the next 50 years
A new roof installed without proper attic ventilation will cook its own shingles inside 10 years, regardless of material warranty. A new roof installed without full-perimeter ice and water shield will leak at the eaves the first real winter. The first install is where every downstream problem either starts or gets designed out. We treat new construction like the 50-year decision it actually is.
What's Included
Every line item on the estimate.
No hidden add-ons, no surprise upcharges. This is what the price covers on every Home Pro roof installation job.
Decking inspection and fastening verification
Every sheet checked for proper nailing pattern and squared edges before any membrane goes down.
Full synthetic underlayment
No felt. Full synthetic underlayment across the entire field for a drier, more tear-resistant build.
Ice and water shield at every critical zone
Eaves, valleys, skylights, chimneys, and all penetrations. Standard on every Home Pro install, not an upgrade.
Architectural shingle options
GAF Timberline HDZ, Armorshield, and Camelot II available. Color-matched to the builder's exterior package.
Proper ventilation design
Balanced intake at the soffits and exhaust at the ridge. Attic temps stay in range, shingle warranty stays valid.
Custom flashing detail
Hand-cut step flashing, custom chimney crickets, skylight kits integrated into the field — not caulked on top of it.
Code-compliant and permit-ready
Built to current NJ code. All required inspections scheduled. Certificate of occupancy never held up by our work.
On-schedule delivery for builder timelines
We work to your framing crew's handoff and your CO target date. Dry-in done inside 24 hours of start when weather allows.

Why Home Pro
Reviews
5.0 stars across Google.
“We had a great experience with Stephen and HomePro Remodeling! From our first meeting, Stephen was professional, honest, and offered the best price after 5 other quotes. The crew showed up on time and worked efficiently and neatly. Stephen even came by to do a final quality check before we made the last payment. The roof looks fantastic.”
“From the very first meeting with the owner, Stephen, we were impressed with his knowledge, expertise, and integrity. Stephen's crew, Marek and Irek, were equally outstanding. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and the transformation of our home is simply beautiful.”
FAQ
The questions homeowners actually ask.
Do you work with general contractors and builders?
Yes. New construction and additions are a regular part of our work. We fit into the GC's framing-to-CO timeline and coordinate directly with the superintendent or owner.
What architectural shingles do you install?
Primarily the GAF Timberline HDZ line for the best warranty-to-price position. Upgraded looks like GAF Camelot II or Grand Sequoia are available. Color is matched to the exterior package before order.
Who handles permits and inspections?
We do. The permit application, inspection scheduling, and sign-off documentation are part of the install package at no additional charge.
What is the warranty on a new install?
Same GAF 50-year limited material warranty as a full replacement, registered in the homeowner's name at close-out. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 10 years.
How much lead time do you need?
Two to three weeks from scheduling to start is comfortable. Rush jobs are possible when the framing is ready and the weather window holds.
